Provides accurate quality and quantity of board stock for production jobs The Sheeting Operator is responsible for moving large paper reams on an occasional basis in the Sheeting Department. This requires moving paper reams that can weigh up to 5000 lbs. prior to moving the paper reams the Sheeting Operator uses a metal pipe to bore out the cores. Each paper ream has two cores. The metal pipes weigh 18 lbs., and 24 lbs., respectively. The Sheeting Operator picks up the metal pipe and uses bilateral hands to push the pipe through the paper ream hole at 32" heights. The metal pipe is carried up to 30'. The Sheeting Operator may bore out two paper ream wholes at one time. After this he will carry the cores in unilateral or bilateral hands up to 30' and place them in the designated area. The bores weight up to 3 lbs. each. These tasks are performed on an occasional basis and involve bilateral reaching, bending, carrying and grasping. The Sheeting Operator will use an automated mover to push the paper reams to the desired rollers labeled #1 and #2. This is done on an occasional basis and requires negligible horizontal pushing force at roughly waist height. This Mover has one handle, position the large paper reams onto a metal roller on the floor that is colored orange. (No name for the orange metal roller per worker). Dimensions of this metal roller are 29.5" in length x 14" in width. The Sheeting Operator will position 9" x 7.5" x 6" Roll Blocks that weigh 11 lbs. behind the orange colored metal rollers to ensure that the paper ream will not move past the desired location. This is primarily used for safety. The orange metal roller and the roll blocks are moved typically by use of unilateral lower extremities per the video. Once the paper ream is positioned on the metal roller the Sheeting Operator has to use horizontal pushing force up to 75 lbs. to push the paper ream up to 20' to position it either at roller #1 or #2. The initial force of 75 lbs. to push this paper ream is only up to 2-3 feet sustained.
