Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Must be able to identify repair and put back into service all types of machinery equipment in a  timely manner in accordance to the National Electrical Code. Be able to install equipment and have the ability to read blueprints Have the knowledge in and and be capable of building power panels and other related equipment. Be able to use electrical test equipment to perform these duties in a timely manner. Be able to work overhead, off of a ladder of scaffolding in high areas. Must be able to stoop or bend to work below knee level. Be able to take directions and/or work without supervision Have knowledge of electrical theory in analog, digital circuits, communication, computers, ohms law  and instrumentation Knowledge of all mechanical powered sources: hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical etc. Experience with control valves, transmitters, and PLC
 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED with related experience. Applicant must be able to demonstrate competency and have at least 5 years of experience in electrical systems maintenance. Extensive knowledge of primary and secondary power systems is required, including main switch gears, electrical panels, lighting systems, motors and general equipment maintenance. Applicants must also demonstrate at least a fundamental, working understanding of high voltage systems, including grounding systems, fuses and transformer maintenance.   Must be able to lift and move 50 pounds without mechanical assistance.
Manufacturing environment, noisy at times (hearing protection required), heated and cooled.
